    FAQ’s

No. Botox for migraines will not help if you’re interested in eliminating wrinkles. Instead, a health professional will use Botox Cosmetic. This is a variant of Botox that enhances your appearance by reducing the prevalence of wrinkles, forehead lines, and crow’s feet. This medicine is also administered through strategic injections.

The process of making your lips look plumper is called a lip flip. This can be done using specific Botox injections. The product is typically injected at the top of your lips where one’s cupid bow is located, around the edges of your lips, and at the corners of your mouth.

Receiving Botox injections is a great process to consider if you’re dealing with migraines, muscle spasms, excessive sweating, and of course, it helps smooth out your facial features. Its effects, however, are not permanent and you’ll likely need to come in for a second Botox treatment after 2 to 4 months.

Botox treatment is not considered a medical necessity, so it typically isn’t covered. But seeing as temporomandibular disorder is a problem that can significantly impact your dental health, your insurance may cover a bit of the cost of receiving Botox for TMJ. Be sure to check with your insurance provider before acquiring treatment.

Botox treatment can be a good solution if you’re suffering from chronic headaches or migraines that last for multiple hours. When you receive Botox for headaches, the medicine is injected into the muscles found in your forehead, temples, the bridge of your nose, your neck, the back of your head, and even in your upper back.

Yes, it can. Botox can help your muscles relax, thereby alleviating joint pain and bruxism (the grinding of your teeth, mainly when you sleep), and TMJ, which encompasses jaw clenching and stiffness. If you find yourself dealing with any of these issues, jaw Botox may be a treatment for you. Talk to your dentist to learn more.
