Botox can be a worthwhile avenue to pursue to treat horizontal neck lines, commonly referred to as “necklace lines” or “neck bands.” These lines are often caused by the platysma muscle in the neck becoming more prominent and forming visible creases or wrinkles. During the session, small amounts of Botox are injected into the platysma to relax it.
